Durga Puja & Navratri Pandit in Bangalore

Book experienced Hindi-speaking North Indian pandits for Navratri Ghatasthapana, Durga Saptashati Path, Akhand Jyoti vidhi, Kanya Pujan, and Ashtami / Navami Havan across Bangalore.

Sharad and Chaitra Navratri celebrate the divine feminine energy (Maa Durga / Shakti). North Indian households observe these nine sacred days with fasting, Kalash Sthapana, continuous lamp lighting (Akhand Jyoti), and the solemn recitation of the 13 chapters of Shri Durga Saptashati from the Markandeya Purana. Our pandit ji guides your family with complete shastric vidhi.

Navratri Ceremonies We Conduct

  • Ghatasthapana (Kalash Sthapana): Consecrating the copper or earthen kalash on day one, preparing the soil bed with sacred barley (jowar), and establishing the Akhand Jyoti.
  • Durga Saptashati Path: Full chanting of the 700 verses (Kavach, Argala, Keelak, Navarna Mantra, and the 13 Adhyayas) invoking Goddess Durga’s victories.
  • Maha Ashtami / Maha Navami Havan: Offering dry fruit oblations, guggul, camphor, and pure cow ghee into the sacred fire with Navarna Mantra.
  • Kanya Pujan (Kanjak Vidhi): Washing the feet of young girls, applying tilak and chunri, offering prasad (halwa, poori, chana), and receiving blessings.
